Salesforce Instance Merge project
- A leading global pharma company acquired another company, and both were using Salesforce with custom implementations and common AppExchange product. They were running two parallel instances for year and half.
- Team was involved in identifying data and metadata (custom components related to approvals, custom Visualforce, Apex and lightning components, schema, reports and dashboards) to be merged and to be left out.
- Data migration done in several stages to ensure all data privacy and IP is protected for both entities
- User migration , in-flight approvals processes sorted out for both entities
- Production cut-over and post go-live hyper care support Shutdown and decommissioning of the source instance
